BOOKING A TRIAL
Booking a trial is the best way to hold your date. Once your trial is booked your wedding date is held until 7 days after the trial when you will need to pay your deposit. All trial date are displayed one month in advance - it is not possible to book further in advance than this. Pre-arranged trials are on weekdays & bookable by international brides or if your wedding is less than 1 month away. Trials are held next to Wembley Park Station.

The Trial
WHAT IS A TRIAL?
The trial is primarily for the brides. I do not need to meet anyone beforehand to colour match or practice, however, as you plan your look for the day it is important that you know how it translates on your face as opposed to a model's or another person's. Ideally you will be sure about the artist/stylist you want before your trial. Have a thorough look at my portfolio as I do have a distinctive style & make sure that it fits with what you want. For example I rarely use heavy makeup.

It's always a great idea to bring someone if you need a second opinion, however the studio is an intimate space.

Don't worry too much about inspirational images - they can be hard to find. If you have several images they will ideally be consistent in the skin tones of the examples.

Why not book something to do after the trial - you'll be too fabulous for housework.

Booking Your Date
SECURING THE DATE
Within 48 hours following your trial you will have access to the Bride Area where you can book the services you need.
Everything you will need before your date will be here including paying your deposit & balance.

I will take over correspondence from my assistants once you have booked. I often work painfully long hours often in places with little reception/internet but I will be as available as possible. The website is relatively thorough with information but please make sure to ask anything at any time, I'm always happy to hear from you. If I'm a little quiet don't panic, I am likely alive & will absolutely be there on your day, it's a small team managing around 90 brides a time but we are very committed to every wedding.
Travel
UNDERSTANDING TRAVEL
For travel within the UK please visit the terms & conditions.
For international travel please locate the flights & accommodation and send the relevant links for booking. An invoice for the amount will be sent as soon as the booking is made.
Airport transfers within the UK will be invoiced according to the following links:
Stansted Express Return | Gatwick Express Return | Heathrow Express Return
Luton Airport Parkway Return | London City Airport
If the inbound and outbound airports are different, the singe fare each way is charged.
International taxi transfers will need to be booked in advance and confirmation emailed to info@malkia.co.uk.
Where this is not possible £150 will be added to the balance to cover transfers.
Flights will need to be identified and details sent, once the invoice for the identified flight is paid the booking will be made.
£40 expenses are charged daily (excluding the day of the wedding).

Your wedding day is far too important to book anything without fully understanding the terms of the booking. There is a link to the T&Cs on the footer of every page. They are intentionally brief but so very important. If you have any questions please ask before you book.
